Reccomend me a new printer

Looking for a good photo printer, with a built in scanner as well. Not epson, Ive had enough of the constant print head cleaning.

HP.
If a printhead gets blocked, put in a new cartridge. It's an expensive solution but blocked printheads are never a problem again.

Could go for a canon?

Theyre as reliable as a toyota and they last for ages.

My BJC250 has lasted 10 Years and is till going.

They have an allinone printer/scanner which costs about £50 i think and is very cost efficient with carts.

Cant recall which model it is.

How much do hp cartdriges cost? The epson ones are about £3.

Even HP compatibles / remanufactured are dear

I have to say tho, if you have the right model it's worth re-filling HP cartridges yourself.
A bit fiddly, and you have to mess to reset the ink level on some.
Save yourself a fortune tho.
I know someone with a HP Photo Smart 7150, and 3 new carts = £60 (Remanufactured @ £45) but you can refill them for a couple of quid each.

Some Epson's are dirt cheap to run, but they have chipped some of the newer ones, and the cartriges won't ever be that cheap.
I seem to recall a post on here about canon doing the same
