Reccomend some settings please

I have the Gigabyte P35C and Intel E2160 1.8Ghz 800FSB

I was just wondering if anyone can tell me their overclocking mobo settings pelase on similar CPU and mobo.

Also, what can I take it to on stock fans, I hear 3GHz, is that true for stock fans?

Thanks, also how beneficial is adding thermal paste?

You do really need to use TIM, preferably AS5 or similar.

Could you explain those abbreviations?

I am over-clocking only beacuse everyone said it would be a waste not to. I don't use the PC for gaming, or anything intense really.

"TIM" Thermal Interface Material (The paste that goes in between the heatsink & cpu.

AS5 is Artic Silver 5 which is a TIM.
