Reccomendations for a CPU Cooler!

Hi there. I'm planning on buying a new CPU cooler. since my stock Intel one is running my processor 60Cish on load... I was recommended previously to get the thermalright ultra 120A CPU Cooler

But this is just the heatsink, so could anyone recommend a 120mm fan for it please?
However, the heatsink hasn't been in stock for ages, is it ever going to be in stock again?
Or could someone recommend me another CPU Cooler that is just as good?

You'll find a lot of recommended HSF in the forum. Is budget a consideration?

Thermalright Ultra-120 EXTREME
and the Noctua NF-P12 Vortex-Control 120mm Quiet

I also ordered some thermal paste, but could anyone give advice on how to apply it?
Do i just put a pea sized blob on the processor, and the heatsink will squash it outwards?
Or do i need to apply it in a particular way?

Good choice regarding the cooler and fan, as for applying the thermal paste, a rice grain sized blob on the middle of the cpu and let the pressure of the heatsink spread it out.

have just ordered a TRUE and the scythe 1600 fan, would i put this to push or pull on the cpu cooler, i have V good air flow with 6 case fans.
Also how much temp reduction would i get from apush/pull configuration?
