Right, so I'll be getting the brakes done soon - I'll be needing front pads and discs. I seem to remember hearing or reading something about it being best to do them seperately so they aren't wearing in at the same time, but is there any truth in it?
The car is a Rover 214, so obviously the standard kit isn't exactly amazing and prefer something a little better, what reccomendations would you all have for decent pads and would using them with regular discs be reasonable, or make it pointless? I can't really see the need for all the fancy grooved stuff on a car like this and I don't think I really need bigger ones if just better pads would do the trick, but maybe I'm wrong?
