Any recommendations for a set of wired closed back over ear headphones that would be good for gaming? I have a set of Philips X2HR and Sony WH-1000XM3, I like the over ear fit of the Philips and the sound quality is pretty good but I want closed back to eliminate noise and although the Sony's are OK I don't like the on ear experience that much. I want wired as they will be connected to a Sound Blaster G6 most of the time. Budget is ~£200, I'd consider 2nd hand.

DT 770 Pro's are very good for gaming (use to own and really enjoy the 250 Ohm version). Even for a closed-back have a good soundstage. I did consider the new Pro X variant and the thing that put me off was some people referring to just how bright/sibilant they are, some people suggesting more so than the original 770 Pro.

Only other suggestion would be the new Fiio FT1 (not the Pro - which is the open-back planar version.). These have been getting rave reviews and are definitely worth looking into. Also according to /headphones there is an official confirmation from Fiio suggesting the early QC issues with the screws on the forks have been fixed.

The current go-to closeback in that price range is the FIIO FT1, though you would need to ensure that you get new stock with the upgraded earcup swivel fixing, the original had a design flaw that saw the earcups falling off.
