Received a used monitor !!

Hi,

Today I have received my monitor, it was poorly packaged and has clearly been used, it has fingerprints and someone's hair on it and all the packaging has clearly been opened.

Since I paid full price (missed the week only deal) for a supposedly new product, what now are my options ?

However, it works perfectly and nothing seems to be wrong with it .. It'll be a pain to be without a monitor again, it just smarts a lot after paying full !

Contact customer services and get them to sort it at their expense.

If no stuck/dead pixels or backlight bleed you could end up with a crap one in return.

Test for above then call CS and get some cash back.

If it was a new product and not a b grade item you should definitely contact CS.

Regardless of it the monitor is fine CS needs to be made aware that this has happened.

You would certainly be entitled to return the item for a full refund or you could work something out with CS if you would rather keep the monitor.

Very poor show by whichever etailer this was. Even if it was a "genuine mistake", jokers want to get their systems and processes in order to stop this happening.

OcUK have done this before, its a mistake, mistakes happen.

Could have been the courier..

We send a lot of goods out and it ain't half annoying when customers instantly point blame in the wrong direction
