Receiving files via WLM

Hi

I am have problems receiving files via Windows Live Messenger. When I accept a file nothing happens and ther other user gets a message saying I have cancelled transfer.

i am using version 2011 15.4, I have tried disabling firewalls anivirus etc but srtill no luck

I get this some times, either you, or them, or both, need to restart MSN.

what do you mean restart ?

Close it and open it again

Edit: You might actually have to have antivirus installed and working for MSN to accept transfers. In MSN options, file transfer settings, "scan files for viruses using", then point MSN to the antivirus you have installed.
