receiving internal mail fine but not external

Hi guys

i have a problem with webmail. whenever I am sent an internal mail it comes through straightaway however whenever i receive an external email there is a long delay (the worst being 7 hours!) does anyone know what could the root of the problem. we use exchange 07 and outlook 07 as well as office outlook web access.

is it hitting your exchange server on time (check message tracking). if not then id check with your ISP for starters.
