Recent birthday party set

Ok, so flatmates did a Made In Chelsea themed murder mystery joint birthday party the other day.

Seeing as it was in my flat, and I'd recently got my Sigma 1.4, I figured I'd try it out and see how it went. Guess this is one of my first 'compiled' sets so to speak.

Points to note/excuses:
Light was poor, it wasn't awful, but I was at about 1.4, 1/80, ISO 800 for most shots. There was also an annoying blue cast coming off of the TV that you can see in a number of shots, with some blue/magenta casting.
I'm happy with the majority of shots, although some I feel lack in technicality. I took about 300 shots, cut it down to 90 that weren't bad/some duplicates etc... and then I cut it down again to 20, because I didn't really want to do 90 edits, and some shots weren't technically up to scratch in mind. The gf then went through the 90 and added a few in that weren't technically as nice as I'd like, but were 'nice' photos. Seeing as it was just a bit of fun for friends, I figured I'd add those in.
5&27 have had some errors made in PP it seems

I almost had a heart attack when I saw the first photo, looks frighteningly like my ex-girlfriend, though I think not looking later on, fortunately for you!

But on topic, it's the constant battle between your artistic wishes for decent pictures and technique and her just wanting a "record" of the event. Always find it difficult at these sort of parties to not feel like I'm shoving a huge camera in everyone's faces, like some pap!
