Recent bought E8400's

Are there ppl out there that can give me their batch of their recent bougt E8400's from OCUK?

Just so i have an idea of what i can expect to get from OCUK

What does that mean?

I don't know the codes, I was just told to make sure it said E8400/SLB9J

It means that it is a week 30 of 2008 cpu....one of the most recent

Im not sure it even matters that much anymore, but Q830 and upwards looks allover very nice.

EDIT: Order done - E8400, Signature 850, TRUE Black and a P12 on its way to me
Ill report back with my batch if it has any interest to others.

so how do you know what stepping the cpu is ??

CPU-Z or check the code on the box and check against Intel's web site.

Edit: Looks like it's the S-SPEC code on the box.
