Recent document list broken! help

I have noticed over the last couple of days that the " Recent Documents " list on the start menu no longer lists any of the files i have opened.

I have disabled re enabled the option but still it will not work.

Any ideas how to get it to work again, reg hack or something.

Win Xp sp2 all the latest updates.

Very odd cant seem to find anyting on google.

Lets of stuff for hiding the recent documents etc, but nothing for you problem.

You could always try putting your windows CD in and running an sfc /scannow in the run box to repair any broken windows files.
