Recent new build showing this in Memtest

Only built the rig a few months back but having BSOD issue's so decided to run memtest, its showing 17k errors after only the first pass.....
The ram is 2400 ddr3 but I've slowed it to 1200 but still getting these errors.
I know nothing about memtest at all but am assuming this isnt normal!?! Anyone point me in the right direction to move forward? Could this be a virus? Or just bad ram??

it is not normal to have any memtest errors

Generally it will be the stick of RAM that is faulty

Are you overclocking, or using non default RAM voltages? if so set all to stock and test again

Try moving the RAM to another slot (if you have more than one stick, just have the one running while testing)

If you have another stick, try that one to confirm the mobo is OK

But I would say your RAM is faulty
