right i've recently bought a windows 360 controller and it seems to be having problems i try to sync crossfire and the controller which was provided with the crossfire, but seems to having some issues to sync, it the xbox 360 controller just seems to not find the connection between the crossfire. anyone have the same issue or had. can anyone help me out?

Never had a problem with my crossfire adaptor, do you have anything else that could be interfering with it wirelessly?

The PC Gaming forum would have been a better place to post, but nevermind.

When you say that the controller just seems not to find the adapter, or vice versa, what is giving you that impression? Have you pressed the sync button on both the adapter and the controller?

yeah i tried everything and still can't figure out what the issue is....nothing is interfering i've tried with wireless network off, as well. nothing else interfering really

Ok, I know you said you've tried everything but bear with me :).

Set the controller searching and then press the button on the adapter, hold it for a few seconds before letting go.

What happens then?

I'm thinking to return this product, not very satisfied with it... I was really forward to playing some games with this controller but, now can't do so. Microsoft failed it again.

I heard that there used to be driver problems with using the wireless version of the pad, but I don't know if they sorted that out.

I've got a wired 360 controller and never had any problems. If you can manage without the wireless then go for one of them instead.

I've used the wireless pad + crossfire adaptor for a couple of years and never had a single issue, surprised if it's driver related.

Either the pad or adaptor sound faulty, or there's a conflict on your system.

Try plugging it into another USB port. Also what motherboard do you have as some have UBS1.0 or USB1.1 ports & this needs a USB2.0 or higher port to work properly as only that can provide the correct amps to the port. I have been using these on 2 PC's since they frst came out about 3 years ago & they work flawlessly as long as you have it plugged into the corect type of USB port also ensure you get the latest drivers from MS as well from here:

@ AWPC, I've done most of the following to get this working again, However I have not checked the motherboard if it's compatible. I have got a P5LP-LE (Leonite2) motherboard just to let you know.

Thanks for the reply though. ;)
Hopefully we can sort this out.

I've actually checked with other controller pads, so i don't think there any issue there. But, I'm proberly going to get a replacement so, it should be good. I think that it's an issue with the adaptor. Cause for a 1 hour after unboxed it from it's original packaging. It worked for 1 hour. And then I restarted my PC and BOOM, didn't work at all. I don't think that there is an issue with driver. I think it does not recognize the controller maybe the chip is confused and malfunctioned. Sorry about few constant posts I'm doing cause I'm at college and just rushing through it. So i may post more then a few posts sorry once again.

I recentley picked up a wireless XBOX360 controller for windows, plugged it in, windows 7 auto updated the drivers, all worked well. The other day the quadrant lights were flashing, so put in some new batteries, all good again. What is the crossfire adapter?.

Guys, I've sent the product back for a replacement and it seems like the product was faulty. Hopefully will get a new working one this time with any having any sort of issue.

Thanks anyways for the help. I'll post agian if the new one does the same (fingers crossed I wont have to xD)
