So I was looking for rechargeable batteries and do they have to be 1.5v or can they be 1.2v as nimh rechargeable batteries are only 1.2v I believe and lithium rechargeable batteries are 1.5v

So do I need lithium or nimh

What do you lot use please

They can be 1.2V. From what I've read, 1.5V batteries slowly go down in voltage as they lose charge, a good rechargeable will stay around 1.2V for longer, before going down. So it'll show only 70% charge, but stay in the mid range for longer apparently. Regardless, I've used 1.2V rechargeables no issue.

I got the EBL lithium ones from there, they have a microusb on each battery and come with a 4in1 cable to charge them, they are lasting really well too (still on the first charge)

Never seen them before. Quite cool!

People mention that because the voltage is so stable battery guages don't work well and just show full until the battery shuts down.

I've noticed that after about 3-4 weeks of use the tracking on one of the controllers starts glitching, swapping them out and recharging them fixes it so I am guessing this is them getting low without actually dying, I will probably swap them out every 2 weeks now as apparently recharging batteries half empty is better than waiting for them to get really low, I got two sets anyway as the reports were that G2's ate batteries but actually 4 weeks off one set is not actually that bad. You could easily have 1 set and just remember to recharge them on a regular basis.

When I first put them in they show up as fully charged, but then they drop to half full and don't go any lower, so I'll probably just look for half full and recharge then.
