We're chewing through batteries within our security cameras, so I'd like to invest in some rechargeables to ultimately save money in the long run.

Does anyone know of or recommend a particular brand of Lithium/1.5v AA batteries for this use case? I've seen a comparison review completed by ProjectFarm on YouTube, however it doesnt appear the brands he's tested are easily availble in the UK.

These seem to be generally well reviewed on Amazon so are currently top contenders, but as always more opinions and recommendations are welcomed!

Panasonic Eneloop where the berries back in the day when i done photography (talking like 10 years ago). I’m guessing it’s still the same as they where so far ahead of everyone else.

hixon brand seems all over amazon - but kentli from ali have some sold test results, and just as much a gamble

I've got multiple stuff led torches / thermostat / raun travel razer ... that all want a genuine 1.5V - the nimh voltage doesn't cut it.

Kentli rechargeable aa/aaa Lion seems a brilliant idea (recessed ring near+ for recharge), an adapter to put these in a regular Lion charger would be good
KENTLI 8pcs 1.5v aa aaa batteries Rechargeable Li-ion Li-polymer Lithium battery + 4 slots AA AAA lithium li-ion Smart Charger
seems they hold 60% charge afte a year, an apparently real [email protected] in AA would be OK

a charger that enabled you to make an optimal 80% fill up which one of the kentlis has would be good for lifespan

I don't think they do Lithium rechargable batteries do they? What batteries have you been using Perma?
Disposable Energizer lithium, which work as you'd want them to but just get expensive over time - we've got 4 cameras so need 8 batteries a time.

You're right in saying that Eneloop don't do lithium, and the cameras need 1.5v (or 3v if series, unsure) - disposable alkaline and NiMh rechargeables just don't offer the voltage needed.

Maybe I'll have to be the guinea pig and take a punt on a particular brand

theres a chap i ebay i used to use called Torchy the battery boy. Knows his stuff.
Sanyo were the goto a few years back when i was vaping.
