Recieved 1440p Monitor

Hiya guys I got my Dell Ultrasharp 2713 Today and was wondering why all the text is blurry and it doesn't even look like 1080p standard even though it's set at 1440p?

let us know what its like for gaming once you have adjusted it to your needs etc

I've got one of these, and can confirm that you should be getting a pin-sharp picture from it!

What cable are you using to connect with? Some of the options (HDMI, VGA) available to you won't actually let you get the full resolution out of the screen.

Check you're using the DL DVI cable from the box. Also if you've changed the DPI settings you may have to re-adjust. Make sure you get the Dell monitor driver from the website as well. Shouldn't change anything but can solve issues.

dpi = dots per inch

higher the dots per inch, smaller the text.

you can change dpi of text in windows

you need dual link cable to support your res.

Yeah Sorted it was trying to use the cable from my old Ultrasharp
