Who are Window?

LoL I get these sort of emails all the time, but telling me to log onto my online banking and "change" my password

I also got this email from this really convincing Nigerian guy, said he could triple my investment in 48 hours...

Rename yourself to OLD>CLUELESS<PHART.

So l take it if you recieved this e-mail asking you if you wanted to change your password no reason given, you would. As l say l did not request this and to warn people, is clueless. So be it l'd rather say something, because people have been caught out by this type of e-mail.

I think you've missed the point old chap. These sort of emails are extremely common place nowadays, no matter who they are 'supposed' to be from. Most people probably get loads of them per day from all sorts of places.

If everyone posted threads about it when they got such an email, this forum would be overflowing.

Add that to the fact this is a computer enthusiast forum, so most people are pretty on the ball to start with, threads like these are pointless.

I applaud your good intentions though :)
