Create and search your own recipes

Recently I started using
http://www.recipics.co.uk/
Which is awesome, especially the custom tags, makes surching for certain types of recipes so easy and fast.

So this is a half recomendation thread, half do you use anything similar?

The only thing I would like is a magazine style browse feature. So it puts a pic and ingredients on a single page and can browse through it like a magazine.

The App Store 12 days of Christmas thing has a recipe app for today free app. I remember you saying you like pictures with recipes Glaucus and this app shows photos of each step.

Thanks tried it and deleted. I do indeed like pictures, they give you an instant feel for the dish. But this year is a different way of eating and different meats. Game is on the cards and amongst other things, I've ordered squirel.

This was more about apps where you save your own recipes/save recipes you've seen elsewhere.

On paprika can now many tags can you add per recipe, Is it just one, hard to tell by photos.

I hate the fact apple App Store doesn't have a trial.

Only done a few in recipepics and you can add ass many tags as you want and make custome tags, which is fantastic. The only thing it's lacks is pictures on the search list.

Edit -
Customizable categories: assign recipes to multiple categories. - Similar to tags in Evernote

Suppose that solves that question.

Thank you so much, paprika app is amazing.
Also image to text is great, but don't try it on ipad, camera isn't good enough. Works great on phone though.

Now time to go through about 3 years off good food and olive magazines, as well as a massive web reading list and off course some of my own.

I'm bumping this, as everyone I try I keep giving up on them, usually as they are only available on certain devices which is plain annoying.
And the web based ones I've found are rubbish, don't include picks, or no structure etc.

I really want something to put recipes in and give me a shopping list. As well as one which is easy to add notes to.

Why can't I program, such an app should be easyish to make.

4 long years later, but finally found an app I like. Don't know how long it's been out, only added a few recipes and only had it a week but so far so good.

If you haven't tried it you must try the garlic onion tortilla stack.
