I'm trying to recolour a simple png image in photoshop. I have to input HSL values. I converted RGB to HSL and need a H value of 225, but photoshop will only let me use up to 180.

What am I doing wrong?

I think photoshop considers Hue, H, to be a 360° scale starting at 0 for your starting hue, which it allows you to adjust either +180° or - 180°.

So what would 225 be in photoshop terms?

I moved the slider from -180 to +180 to try and match the colour and despite S and L being the same none of the colours appear to match.

Col is
4960A4 blue
rgb(73, 96, 164)
hsl(225, 38%, 46%)

If you put the rgb into here https://www.rapidtables.com/convert/color/rgb-to-hsl.html it shows the correct colour and gives hsl values. I'm trying to covert a light pink logo to this colour.

When using the recolour option in photoshop no value for H for the above values matches the colour. H of -135 (S 38 and L 46) gives a light blue. Mucking about -104, -53, 3 comes close, but these are just values I have found messing about.

Is there anyway to be able to use rgb values, or an online tools I can use?

I'm getting there now. In the recolour window you can click on the colour box next to hsl and then it lets you enter rgb or hex values.

I only use photoshop occasionally, so every time I do I have relearn how to do stuff.
