recomend a cooler

I've used a few coolers on socket 939. In order from worst to best:

Standard supplied cooler. Ok even with a mild clock! (Had a [email protected] on an ASRock mobo)
Silverstone Nitrogon NT03 low profile cooler. (Actually quite good and very compact but very noisy with it's twin 60mm fans!)
Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro. (Excellent performance for absolutely no money! Had my 3700+ @ 2.6ghz with plenty more to go!)
Scythe Ninja Plus. (Best so far but twice as much as the 64 pro! Cools my Opty 165 overclocked from stock 1.8ghz all the way to 2.8ghz!) :)

Just got a lapped Thermaltake Big Typhoon which i'll be fitting to my 165 (haven't decided whether to remove the IHS - need a little more courage! :rolleyes: ) so i can let you know how that goes!

Tbh - all of the standard big boy coolers will do the trick as they all cool very well. Noctua, Tuniq, Scythe, Typhoon, Arctic cooling (on a budget) etc will suit you fine! ;)
