Recomend a wireless router?

hey guys, im looking at buying a new router this weekend when i get payed I have an ADSL connection at the moment but will be getting ADSL 2 soon.. Will a ADSL 2 router still work with my ADSL connection untill i upgrade?

Im looking to stream HD films etc from my file server so i want it to be fast and i play games a lot! Any recommendations would be helpfull!!

ADSL2+ is backwards compatible with ADSL, so kit that does the former will do the latter. As for recommendations, I'd suggest you search this forum - there have been loads of identical threads in the last month.
