Recomend me a 360 headset

What would you all say is the best 360 headset to own?

I had a look in [No competitors - Minstadave] yesterday and they had the official 360 wired headset for 10-15 quid, but the new reviews say it's a load of crap.

its good, don't use the first xbox one though, it's not fully compatible with volume control etc and is crap.

My advice...

Buy the xbox live vision camera for £20 - £25 and it comes with a 360 wired headset anyway, so you get the camera and headset for that price and Uno for free from xbox live arcade and 1 month gold code!!!!

but is that the original xbox headset? If so, seriously don't get it. You can't control the volume or mute if used with the 360 controllers, plus the build quality is worse than the 360 one.

Ah right, so the wired headset isnt that bad? My old one for my original xbox was a bit ropey if i remember right.

Wired headset is alright but not brilliant. If you have the cash around then go for the wireless one as its supposed to be better for quality, but otherwise the wired one is fine.

You know what I bought the official 360 one and I found it to be cheaply made and kind of crap.

The other day I was moving things around my room and I came across my original Xbox (non 360) headset/mic and thought i'd give it a go. It works perfectly and has a much higher build quality and the mic is just sooooooo much better. You could probably pick one up at a bargain bin price

I completely disagree!

The wired 360 headset is made better than the old xbox one. I bought the old xbox one to use with my 360 a while back and you can't control the volume or mute when connected to a 360 controller, also you have to attach the mic to the headset part and it's really flimsy and mine broke because of this.

Get the official wired xbox 360 one with the camera like I said, seriously, it's the best deal.

I used to use the old XBox headset, and all was good, until it broke.

Replaced it with a proper 360 one, volume control and mute were a godsend, but then it broke.

Picked up the wireless one, the sound from the earpiece is an order of magnitude clearer. Though I still have a wired one for when the batteries run out in the middle of a GoW sesh

You can adjust the volume in your player menu? ... I guess I see what you mean though.

Why is the wireless one a huge waste of money. Mine has been fantastic since buying it. I much prefer it to having a wire hanging around your neck all the time. The only downside to the wireless one i have found is that you have to plug it in to recharge it as opposed to being able to recharge it via the 360.

New wireless one is fine, I've been using it without issue and it's available for £25.99.

I much prefer it to the other headsets and I was a fan of the wired one too.

Personally Id go with the standard 360 wiredf one, and thats coming from someone who has used the original Xbox one, the standard wired 360 one, a Datel one and the wireless one.

Wireless one is not worth the money and the quality isnt all that great either.

But let the OP know why the wireless one is a waste of money? Whats wrong with it? Mine is fine, much better than the wired one as far as im concerned. If it can be had for £25.99 even better, makes it not much more than the wired one.
