recomend me a 64bit distro

Hi,

currently using pclos gnome edition which i like a lot, but also thinking of trying out a 64bit distro

what can people recommend from experience (excluding ubuntu) ?

Not from experience (sorry), but from word of mouth I hear Open SuSE is very good.

Suse? Surely thats a typo and should read 'Ubuntu'

I use another PC/Virtual machine for Linux so I can't say.

Use Gentoo or Arch and make your own Environment.

thanks for the replies, suse fails to boot on my machine, so far arch is going well, seems a nice distro will give gentoo a go in a couple of days.

For extra bonus points, install it from a ubuntu/fedora/arch/etc live cd (anything that has a 2.6 kernel).
