Volvo V50 T5 SE. Could get a new one for that sort of money according to Broadspeed. Or if you wanted a diesel the new D5. Either would come in under budget giving you some money left over for extras.

the audi a4 and a6 are two completely different size cars. id think its important to decide on what size car you want/need.

as for a rover, you must be brave. utter joke of a car compare to an equivalent audi a4

I'm sick of the whole "It's a Rover, therefore it's crap" mentality. The 75 is a great car, it won the What Car Compact Executive award just to name one

It's also a new design, not a BMW or Honda design

It's about time that people would look past the badge and look at the car. It's too late for Rover now but that's a different debate

Can't say I'm fond of my 7 from the rear, driving it makes up for it by a long way. You'll soon feel the same about a 5, trust me.
