Hi all

Thinking about asking for a new mouse for Crimbo, I really would like a new one, what would you recomend for first person shooters?
ideally with a lot of buttons! :)

Thanks

Kone, Deathadder/Copperhead, G5 etc these will be the responses so ill save you the time ha ha

All are superb mice for gaming.

Personally i use a Microsoft Habu

I have a logitech g5 very good mouse and has 2 extra buttons on the side. You could properly go for the Logitech MX518 mouse if you dont feel the need for the weights that you get with the g5.

But i play a lot of fps and i'm constantly toping the tables, but like any new mouse it takes awhile to get used to.

I would also suggest if your getting a gaming mouse, to get a gaming mouse mat or surface. It makes a big differance.

I have just got a Razer Deathadder a few months ago and it's amazing. Very accurate and fast on the large boogiebug surface I got with it from OCUK. Plus they're not that pricey.

does sound like a very nice mouse, but £50 ? ouch! a lot of money!!

exactly how many buttons does this Kone have?

Same as the MX518, but with horizontal scrolling on the wheel as well.

Speaking of £50, when I got the MX518, I'm sure it was up that way. :o

At least you know when you buy a MX518 Logitech will look after you for Years afterwards.
New feet sent on request at No charge & replacements Instantly handled/shipped. Not that I have had to use there support concerning a mouse apart from new feet for my 510 back in the day. Has to be said though there support is 2nd to None.

Still loving my Razer Diamondback (Lava Edition) I got for £19.99 all in, a couple of years ago. And the red now goes with my Haf 932!

I'm liking the MX518 at the moment, at least its cheaper than the others that are mentioned, i also like the idea of having 8 buttons and programable
