recomend me some wired headphones

So basically I love to blurt out music from my Technics deck HiFi system. I used to own a really old pair of headphones that just simply could deliever the goods. You could blast audio through them and they would deliever the base too!

I am now looking for something that can produce the goods. I don't mind paying for it too as long as they are good.

I would decide on my budget and head to headfi forums and av forums to see what best suits my needs personally i like rock so I got grado's.

Yeap, I like trance and stuff, and my AT's are awesome. Good refined bass. Though my favorites are the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro's.

Decide what type of music you like the most, and e.g. if you want closed or open back cans. Also if you're going to be using them for long periods of time, make sure you read about other users' experiences on comfort and durability.

You'd need to give us a budget too.

Right, I have the beyer dynamic DT770s as my main PC headphones, and they rock. Very good for gaming and films, excellent sound stage and extremely good bass response, but they are very neutral sounding too so suit pretty much any music you'll throw at them.

The likes of grados are a little bit brighter so suit rock a bit better, for trance, rnb, acoustic, or pretty much anything else the beyers are nicer (not as good as my ultimate ears triple.fi10s but they were more than double the price and in ear monitors rather than full blown headphones)

Extremely comfortable too with very well padded ear muffs, velour or some such
