I have a vps which i bought.. I basicly want to host a few sites on it and have teamspeak/vent.. I don't want cpanel (don't want to pay) I would like somthing like it but free...

I can have

Debian
Centos
fendora
ubuntu
gentoo

+ a few others

Could you link me to a few guides on setting up a think like cpanel and what version off linux i should use..

You can try vhcs2. It is easiest to install on ubuntu/debian with apt-get. In fact I would not even attempt to install it on any other distro. ISPconfig is supposed to be pretty good and it generally considered more secure. FWIW I was using vhcs2 (latest build) and the admin account was hacked.
