Can any one please recogmend me an mp3 player i have a sony walkman mp3 player its good but the only thing is i hate the sonic stage software it seem to make a mess of my computer. I have been considering getting an ipod nano but im not to sure weather i can store pictures on it from my windows xp pc as i would like to have that functunality.

b) 24hr battery life is no joke, Mine was last charged a week ago and I listen about 3 hours a day and it's still going...
Some people "complain" about iPod sound quality and functionality.
I personally don't need Radio on my iPod, I listen to podcast and my own mp3s (all at 220kbps VBR), the 8gb is holding about 918 songs and there's still about 1.3GB left. The earphone that comes with it is, in my opinion, not that brilliant.
I match it up with my Sennheiser CX300 and put the nano EQ on Treble boast, sounds absolutely wonderful. I can hear practically everything.

damnit being used to inner ear buds and not 10p pieces shoved down your earhole
I also found itunes a joy to use, made a playlist, synced over 2gig of music in a few mins. Simple, easy and worked. Even knew i had a pink nano
Winamp worked well with it too (only used it to read music from it, didnt transfer) . I'm quite wanting a nano atm, -.-
