Recomendation for Film camera

I've currently got a 350D but would like to have a go at film photography so i was hoping someone can recomend a cheap 2nd hand Canon camera to try. Ideally i don't want to spend more that £100.

Also do people have any recomendation on the type of film to use?

The few reviews i found seem to suggest the EOS 5 is a good camera but Keeping think it would be better to get a newer body such EOS 30. I assume the newer bodies would auto focus faster and have better compatability with my Speedlite 430 EX. Any views?

Also no one has recomended what film to use. Does it make much difference? Otherwise will just go for some 400 ISO black and white from any make.
