I can recall one day walking into a supermarket after some normal mach3 Turbo (non power/nitro) blades and discovered Wilkinson Sword Quattro, both the handle and blade being cheaper than the Mach3 and blades.

So I purchased only to be dissapointed with the mess it made of my face. So went for a Mach3 Turbo (non nitro).

However today I managed to get my hands on a free Quattro Titanium razor and I have to say it is the most comfortable and close shave I have experienced.

It's not just the fact the titaniums blades are sharper, they have moved the 4 blades 30% closer together compared to the normal quattro meaning you get less pulling at the hair etc.

Comes highly recomended and I have very sensititve skin. You should try it instead of the M3 power gimmick.

Disposable's > * :p

I would be very interested in why you think that disposables are better than system shavers (Shavers with handles and replaceable heads).

Better value for money I can agree with your argument. I think disposables have come along way though with a lot of blade technology from system shavers being found on disposables.

Such as more blades and flexible head, which you will find within some disposible ranges.

How about the women here? Which do you prefer? Disposibles, systems or other hair removal methods such as wax?

The reason I prefer them, is because as of yet I'm still relatively an unhairy person. My facial hair is limited to sideburns and a bit of an under carriage. If I had a thick beard, I may consider using more expensive razors, but the reason I don't use them already is because like you said, the disposibles are cheaper. Also, I'm not too keen on the idea of re-using the same blade over and over before eventually swapping them.

I'm very open to any advice / opinions on other razors and will likely change my use one day, but as it stands, a disposable wet-shave suits me perfectly.

I can honestly say the best shaves I have ever had have been in the last week since I started using an old fashioned double edged safety razor, badger hair brush and shaving cream. It is expensive to get all the kit you need to begin with, but after that 10 double edged blades are £3.50 or less. I have tried all of the different cartridge and disposible ones under the sun and this way is by far the best and most economical.

I have desperate dan style stubble and normally look like I haven't shaved even if I have. This shaving method makes me look clean shaven and mrsyoustolemyname rubs my face now :)

I posted a thread on it the other week...
