Looking for a sub £450 laptop/notepad with a 14" or larger display. Portability and battery life isn't a concern. System won't be used for gaming, just MSN and simple internet, etc.
Was thinking a G45 chipset for wireless N network support would be benefical due to the distance it will be away from router (can see a new router being needed).
It most include a webcam, and hopefully that means it includes a microphone. But looking at spec sheets, not many mention if mic included.
Looked at Dell Vostro 1510 (1.3 MP camera). Dell Inspiron 1525 And Studio 15 both with 2.0 MP camera. These are all with b/g wireless network, but can add 1505 Wireless-N card to some of the above and keep under budget.
Any other makes worth a look? Not considering the mini 10" screen models around.
