Hoping the forum can help me decide which 5070ti to pick up.

I have the 4000d airflow corsair case
5800x3d CPU
3080FE 10GB

Main use case is triple 1440p screen sim racing. Im settled on the 5070ti, cant stretch to the 5080.

Edit: i know coil whine can happen on any card but id rather avoid any cards "known" for it

I am not using any other pci-e slots on my atx mobo and id prefer a thicker card for improved cooling anyway.

Noise isnt a huge concern as i generally game with headphones on, id rather have awful noise than awful thermals

The quiet bios option would be nice

Budget £700-£800. I was looking at closer to £700 than £800. It isnt much more than £800 for the 5080

Any recommendations from what ocuk has on sale atm

What motherboard do you have? And are you, will you be running anything in any of the other PCI-e expansion slots?

I always consider warranty when looking at a GPU as it costs a lot these days.

I went for Zotac for my 5080 as this has 5 year warranty, 2 normally and 3 more years if registered within 30 days of buying it.

Previously I went for Zotac again and had a 4070Ti which failed under warranty and as it was EOL I got a full refund from OCUK as it was no longer stocked\sold.

I did like the look of the zotac, but in my budget is only the thinner sff version

I wont be running anything in the expansion slots

The mobo is MPG B550 GAMING EDGE WIFI (MS-7C91)

16GB RAM

I was thinking maybe the gainward phantom as the ones cheaper arent as chunky so im assuming cant be pushed as much

@handyandy24

If you're running an ATX motherboard I would personally go for one of the larger cards.

They should, on paper at least, run quieter and cooler, with more headroom overclocking.

But the main reason for me, is that they will feel more premium (and essentially, are) and fill out the case better.

The Zotac SFF is only 2 slots, the Gainward Phantom is 3.5, they will look totally different!

Pick the one you like the look of, performance difference between the worst and best versions are minimal. I do prefer a chunky boy though that' one Tamzzy posted looks the part.

I must be lucky asf I picked up a Palit Gamerock 5070TI off the MM here last here for £500 and it's been great card. I recommend that. My first Palit card but noise temps and performance are impressive.

EDIT: since it's out of stock on ocuk and horrible priced I'd look at the Palit gaming Pro S versions that's what I was originally going to buy.

the cheapest 5080 is nearly 1k

as for the 5070ti just go for the cheapest cooling solution you like the look of they all perform nearly identically

What's going on with these 5070 Ti prices @Gibbo ? Thought they were effectively getting killed off so prices would shoot up but they're all on special for decent prices.
