Recommend a 5070ti

the cheapest 5080 is nearly 1k

as for the 5070ti just go for the cheapest cooling solution you like the look of they all perform nearly identically

This ....^ and make sure the power delivery is at least same as the others or better (techpowerup site is a good site to check the PCB) as sometimes the cheaper cards are actually better PCBs than the expensive ones as they add on their "TAX" Asus as an example just for the name and brand you pay more for less sometimes.

What's going on with these 5070 Ti prices @Gibbo ? Thought they were effectively getting killed off so prices would shoot up but they're all on special for decent prices.
They're probably still £100 more than they were back during the Xmas period, so not sure about 'decent prices'. I'm old enough :) to remember the days when tech very quickly lost value. I find it absurd, regardless of the reason(s) that tech that's been on the market for a year+ is increasing in price.

Not looked at all the specs but I like the look of the Asus Prime OC.At £799 at the currently discounted price, it was still only £699 over Xmas.
Buying the cheapest is probably the better decision at this time.

I get your point but we seem to have it a lot better than a lot of the world when it comes to 5070ti pricing especially at ocuk
