Recommend a £600 general use lappy :)

My mates looking at the xps 1530 but was just wondering if there's anything else in similar size and specs for the money?

I've heard that there's been quite a few issues with the xps range, anything to be concerned with?

It's not really going to be used for gaming, just for general use in the house that's more portable than a pc. Battery life isn't very important, screen size anything from 13-15".

The M1330 or M1530 are both very nice, not too heavy and quite slim. If it's just for general use though, maybe the Studio 15 would be worth a look. There's also a 10% discount code floating around at the moment for orders over £699.
