My 21st next month, so looking for a place to do it basically :p (in london)

Want a bar/club type thing. So a large sitting area where you can just relax and chat even, but also a dance area. Something like boardwalk if anyone knows it.
On a friday night, something nice and cheap :p (so around the 5 pound mark for entry and drinks shouldnt be too much either) and a place where age limit is not 21 since I would be more or less the only one able to get in. I think the youngest of my friends is 19 so 18 or 19+ is fine.

I'm guessing i'm asking the impossible, lol, but recommendations for a nice place would be very welcome :D

I'm not from London so I can't really help but I'd imagine it would help a bit if you could narrow down the rough area you want the pub/bar to be in a bit more, I've heard that London is kinda big. Around here most pubs will reserve you a few tables/specific area if you ask them early enough and give them an idea of numbers, you may be able to work out some sort of deal for food if you ask nicely as well. :)

try Mother or medicine near old street tube. I think mother is still there and maybe the pool bar, which is not to far away.

Ruby Blue in Leicester Square has large areas that you can reserve for parties, all with lots of sofas and then there is a dance floor in the middle too. Also has a terrace upstairs that has a good view over Leicester Square, and also has a restuarant if you want an all in one venue,

Entry has always been free whenever I've gone but I've never been in after 9ish so not sure about later on if your looking to go to a few places and then end up somewhere

Thanks for the replies everyone :D

Mother seems a bit dingy from the site, and not the best birthday place. Though medicine looks like a good possibility :)

ripper, neil, Mars all the way :D

Brum_Man, considered ruby blue, but a couple of my friend's have been and aren't a huge fan of it :( Though they've only been on student nights. (when it's nice and cheap, hehe)

We found this place online (and by a recommendation of a friend) Guanabara. A tad expensive, but we'l drink a bit before going so don't have too drink too much there, and before 9pm to avoid the entry :p hehe.

Anyone here been? or what do you think of it, judging from the site. Seems something different from the regular club night. Brazilian dancing and what not ^_^

I only ever went to Mother once but Medcine is fantastic, you should get to Guanabara if you can, it's a Brazilian bar.

Die Bunker in Covent Gardens is the place you want .... nice micro brewery larger; good cocktails and wine and I do believe it has a dance floor.
