Recommend a bundle around the £400-£450 mark

Im looking for a new cpu/mobo/ram bundle, ideally an i5.

Just looking at the options, the Z77 range motherboards all look cheap in appearence in comparison to the Z68 range.

Is that a valid comment or are the (newer?) Z77 board bundles better to be looking at?

I don't really understand what you mean by "cheap in appearance" i don't see it.

The Z77 is the right chipset to be on at the moment, as it supports ivybridge and all its features.

What is the rest of your system like?

Do you need the option of SLI/xfire?
 
maybe its my imagination, but doesnt this Z77 mobo look cheaper compared to the Z68 below:

Its hard to explain, and is probably nonsense in comparison.

The Bundle will be part of an upgrade.
Also buy 2x Corsair M4s and possible an MSI HD 6970
 
I understand what you mean but I think it's just the angle and quality of the photo. It looks a bit washed out to me.
Z77 is a better tech than Z68 without a doubt. Just google the Z77 and take a look at the images.
