Recommend a C# book

Hello. Can anyone recommend a good book for learning to use C# effectively?

There are evidently a lot of C# books out there and I don't want to buy a turkey. I have experience with C / C++, so books introducing the basics of programming aren't what I'm after.

What do you own or have read? Thanks for any recommendations.

Head First C# might be worth a look, you might want to check out the preview beforehand:

The head first books are quite highly rated on that rainforest site, I own Head First Design Patterns and I found it really enjoyable to read which is not something you would expect from a book on programming.
