Recommend a cheap game on steam!

I bought Dark Star one for £5.99 on steam (Have it on DVD already). Fun space combat RPG. It has a known issue with 1680x1050, but 1920x1200 worked to my surprise.

^^ Sengoku supposed to be good? Is it like shogun 2 but you don't see the battles?

Found Hearts of Iron 3 much too complicated, should I steer clear.

As mentioned before, you should seriously consider Defense Grid. Incredibly addicting :P Just went to check and apparently I've now sunk 50 hours into it. I got it on a sale as well, best £1.75 ever :D

Sorry my link was misleading as I've not actually played Sengoku - I'm a HoI fan having owned a few, just purchased number 3 because it's cheap as chips!

Slow burner, very complex, but nice to zone out for an hour or two at a time. If you've nothing to do it's a time killer.

Actually in that respect another game I love, from an indie producer, AI War: Fleet Command - http://store.steampowered.com/app/40400/ (it's over budget but bloody brilliant).

Defense Grid is good.

This ^^ brilliant game, very addictive as you can see ;)

check out greenman gaming as well they do pretty good deals competing with steam :)

found some good bargains there when looking for cheap games, even shogun 2 a few month back was cheaper there than on steam :)
