I have just purchased this PC in the last few days and should really have invested in a better graphics card:

Intel Core i5 2500k 3.30 ghz
OCZ Agility 3 120GB SSD
MSI P67A-C45 Intel P67 (socket 1155)
OCZ ZS Series 650W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply
Xigmatek Dark Knight CPU Cooler
Zalman Z9 Plus Tower Case
Kingston 8GB (2x4GB) DDr PC3-1200C9 1600mhz Dual Channel Kit
LG 10X Blu Ray-ROM
TP Link 300Mbps Wireless Adaptor
Graphics card: Asus ATI Radeon HD6450 Silent Edition 1024MB GDDR3 Low Proifile PCI Express

Total cost = £857.75

Now, I really should have purchased a better graphics card and was wondering if Overclockers may exchange the graphics card for a better one?

Which graphics card would you recommend for my setup ensuring it's compatible?
Thanks

The PSU you have will power anything up to a GTX580.
So it will depend on what kind of price range you are looking at.

As you have used the 6450 Im not sure if they will swap it. Worth a try though.

Aye, that graphics card is the very bottom-end current-gen graphics card AMD sells and is mainly aimed at budget users and home theatre PCs. If you plan to do any gaming then it is not a good choice since it is so low-power and the rest of your system is so nice.

As for what graphics card to go for, do you plan to play a lot of games and what resolution do you play at?

If you do a fair bit of gaming and play at ~1920x1080 resolution then I would go with something like a HD 6950 2GB. If you can't spend quite that much, then the £120 HD 6870 is a good deal.

As for swapping out the existing card with a new one, is this system an OCUK pre-build or did you purchase the parts separately and assemble it yourself?

If you built it yourself then you should be able to return the card under DSR (distance selling regulations) and get a full refund (though you need to pay for the postage back, and make sure it is sufficiently packaged).

If you bought it as a pre-assembled packed from OCUK then legally I think your only recourse is to return the entire system under DSR and start again. However, if you contact OCUK, they may come to an arrangement with you which will get you a new graphics card at a discount, so long as you return the existing card.
