Hi guys my current builds based on a GA-P35-DS3 without the heat pipe and a Core2 6550 which hits 3.5Ghz with ease however its not stable for long due to soaring temps and I'm not going to put anymore volts through it as I'm still using the stock cooler.

So can someone recommend the top performing thermal paste (I'm assuming its not AS3 anymore!) and heat sink + fan for cool runnings :D

Most use Artic silver 5, a good hs is the thermalright ultra extreme with one or two yate loon 120mm fans on it.

Like that, no messing around and you ordered a brilliant cooler! :)

Tip: A magnetic phillips screwdriver makes the installation of the TRUE a walk in the park, try and dig one out from somewhere for your install.
Is it actually safe to use a magnetic screwdriver with a computer? Obviously magnets and computers don't mix but I presume the actual magnetic force on the screwdriver is so small it couldn't cause any problems?

Well I have used one for years and had no problems? Obviously I don't use one on/near the hard drives.

A long magnetic phillips screwdriver is sooo handy when you building PCs, makes tasks like screwing the motherboard into the case and the like easy. The long 15.5" magnetic phillips screwdriver I used cost about £4.00 and is an essential tool for me, useful too when you are installing the TRUE :)
