Recommend a CPU Cooler!

To be honest I just fancied going back to an all air system. I don't really have any complaints with the H100 so not sure what I want to do.
Will the H100i still trump a good air cooler? May replace the fans as they are stupid loud on full chat

I will keep the H100i and change the fans out. Amazing how now it's cooler my PC is silent Also the mount for X79 will work with X99 correct?
Think my main issue is my 780 SLI kicking out serious heat. Using a infrared temperature gun I measured the heat coming out of my case via the H100 rad, was about 40C (on a hot day that hurts!)
