I have spent ages reading these threads, but thought I'd try to tap the knowledge of you screen experts! I've got the opportunity to replace my dual 19" 4:3 (1280x1024) LG L1930B TFTs at work (because one broke!)
I'm going to be using them for work, which is email and internet, plus some video editing and Photoshop. Obviously needs to be good for all-day use, so good quality image is a priority. Height adjustability would be preferable. No gaming. HDMI/HDCP not important.
I'm probably looking at 22" maximum, as two on a desk would be a bit large. I'm split between 1920x1080 and 1680x1050 (ie. whether I'd benefit more from the 16:10 screen space)
Budget is flexible - I'll ask and see if I can get! Probably unlikely to be spending >£600 for the pair, probably nearer £500 if possible.
Finally, I'm looking for a slim bezel for better dual usage, and they can't look too flashy! Some of the Samsung designs look a bit 'consumer', and that wouldn't do at work - don't want my colleagues noticing them too much
My initial thought is the Dell U2211H - any thoughts on that? Should I be concerned at 82% colour gamut, or will that suit me?
