Recommend a few benchmarking progs for me?

I'm moving GPU and I would like to run some benches on my old card and then slot the new card in and run the same. To see what the performance gain is. Can you recommend some FREE bits of software that I can run to give me the comparison I want?

I'm moving from MSI gaming 280x to a XFX 7990

To be honest I don't really do bench marking. As long as the card plays the games I play I just play them. I have Valley already so I'll download the others and use them as benches. Any specific settings I should use or just do default settings?
