Recommend a Gaming Surface

I have just brought a wired Microsoft Laser Gaming Mouse and need you guys to recommend a hard Mousemat to go with it.

To be honest, i can't fault this soft mat with a gel wrist rest that i got from some shop for a tenner years ago.

Yes I had a lovely Black Icemat and my Laser mouse jumps all over the place with it so I'm just using my desktop now

On a related note, can anyone recall the name of the company that made those gigantic 'desk mats'?

They were mentioned on the forum a while back and were large enough to accomodate your mouse, keyboard and monitor.

I used to have the soft Gel wrist support mouse mat, cheap from pcworld brought 2 of them lasted just over a year for both of them.
very good for laser mouse nice smooth non grip surface, But now I have a large screen I sit back in a chair and place mouse mat on the bed next to me so I went for a steel allsop mouse mat. It stays firm on the bed and the mouse glides on it. Only point to make is they use very shiny smooth surfaces, you would need a good high dpi mouse to cope. My MX Revolutions copes well no glitches at all

I'd find out if you first prefer cloth mats or the solid types and go from there.

boogie bug rocks, it's an entire desk surface. Although it is a tad annoying when you spill coffee on it. But it does wash easily.

I've been using a large Q-pad for about 2 years and just ordered another one.

Its a dark one as well, and I've had no problems whatsoever with a laser mouse.

Cant recommend it highly enough.

using the roccat sense adrenaline blue and a g5, bloody amazingly smooth!
