Recommend a good database/quote program please?

For many years we have used an antique database program in our office called Telemagic.

Im looking for something a bit more update, it has to have the ability to store quotes, and merge with word to create the quotations.

With telemagic we create the body of the quotation and then merge it with word to create a full quotation.

Is there anything someone can recommend? How do other people store/create quotations?

M$ Access is really quite good. Since their inclusion of VB and SQL with 2000 it's just as good as any of the others - just requires a certain amount of skill to get it running.

Were you hoping for an off the shelf piece of software? If you were, consider either getting work to give you (or someone else) the time to train up on Access as it's far better to use something as it was intended than using something that was designed to meet a variety of criteria.
