We need a wireless access point in the DT room of our school. I had ordered a Netgear WG102 but our supplier is unable to fulfil that order.

Can anyone recommend a wireless acccess point for no more than £100 ex VAT? The access point will only be needed to be seen by computers/tablets etc in the DT room so we are not expecting a massive range.

Thanks.

An AirPort Extreme is slightly over budget, but is a great AP. Can't really think of anything else around that price point.

Hi guys. Thanks for those suggestions. I'll do some research on those later. We aren't looking for anything too fancy. It's just to be plugged into a Gigabit switch for one single room to benefit from. The rest of our wireless APs are 54G.

How about the TP-Link TL-WA901ND? Looks to be around £40?

Can't say i've used that particular WAP, although my past experience with TP Link gear is a bit hit or miss. All i can suggest is that you have a look at reviews and see if there are any glaring issues before purchasing :)
