My Draytek 2820 appears to be dying. I really need to purchase a new router that has: gigabit ethernet, wireless draft-n, VPN endpoint, plenty of port forwarding options and a nice GUI.

I've tried (and used at work) DLink, Netgear, Belkin and Linksys so far - none of them really hit the spot like the Draytek

Any suggestions?

If you chop the spec into bits you get a hell of a lot more (and cheaper) options - either use a separate GigE switch, or a lot of 802.11n "cable" routers will have a built-in GigE switch to which you'd only need to add an ADSL modem.

Well I got a gig switch already so I can rule out the need for gig ports on the router. I doubt i've got room to split the rest up. I was thinking maybe linksis dir 610 or similar
