recommend a jump starter.

My right indicator keeps turning it self on so i need a jump start for when i'm stuck out in the sticks. The indicator stay on all the time until i put the arm up and have to wait for it to start flashing on the dashboard even if i turn left it comes on.

The logical thing would be to get the problem sorted, rather than "work around" it.

I'll third the fix the problem. Batteries don't like getting drained fully.

Could be something as cheap as a relay or a flasher unit.

I've taken the car in two garage's and no one can find the problem, plus i've changed the indicator arm as well.

It's a vauxhall astra mk4 club.

Probably a duff earth somewhere. Will be pain to find, but far less irritating than having to jump start all the time.

Could you clarify this a bit, I couldn't follow it.

Do you mean that even with the stalk in the middle position, the right hand indicator will randomly start flashing and you can't stop it by any means?

If i turn right it flash's then the arm go's to the middle and stay on not flashing, then i flick the up again until start to flash.
