recommend a modem/router please

i have never owned a router so that is why i am asking for recommendations. i want to be able to connect my ps3 to the internet as well as my pc but i dont want to have to have pc on to connect ps3 online so i need a powered one (i am guessing all routers are mains powered) i am on a adsl connection.

just get a cheapo netgear router there are plenty but most 4 port routers will do the trick, I just like my netgear 834G just do a search I'm sure you will come up with a few good results.
