Hey chaps. Got myself the X-T10 and 35mm f/2, loving it so far. Definitely need to get a polariser. What's decent around the £30 mark? Been looking at Kenko smart circular polarising filter 43mm, some reviews state it loses about 2 stops. How does that compare with Hoya etc?

I'm aware I don't need a circular polariser but it seems hard to find a linear one anyway.

Thanks!

EDIT: Also looking to purchase a couple of spare batteries and a dual charger. Ex-Pro seem well recommended on a few forums including here?

Was about to say Camdiox from SRB but they don't do a 43mm CP unfortunately, I've tested the Camdiox CP's and 10 stop ND's against £100 B&W filters and found the Camdiox's to be every bit as good.

And yes Ex-Pro batts all the way, I've 6 of them and have zero problems with longevity or compatibility.

Thanks guys. I did some more searching and found that Marumi were rated very well, in some tests beating the B+W filters!

I had a Marumi on my Nikon D50 with 50mm f/1.8 and always did me well, so I opted for the 'Marumi DHG 43mm Circular Polarising Filter'. Was looking at the Hoya Fusion as it did well in the above test but the general consensus seemed to be that Hoya weren't generally as good for your money as Marumi. All much of a muchness at this price point though. Ex-Pro batts bought also :)
